Meet Kris.

I’ve kind of always been out of most people’s box. I gravitated toward movies and books that made me feel deeply. I spent endless hours relating to Chris McCandless’ pursuit of a life free of society’s restrictions. Watching The Great Gatsby over and over analyzing Jay’s blind yet, immense hope for a dream. I always thought I was weird for being this analytical about the pursuit of a meaningful life and risking it all for something or someone you love. I saw this as a weakness…

Then, when I got behind the lens, I found those same curiosities, except this time they weren’t through movies or books, they were through real moments in time. The gentle brush of a hand against a cheek, the tears falling into the vow book, the sweet conversations during the first dance…I’ve gravitated toward these moments and am as curious as ever to elicit emotions through my photos. As if you were there living it again and again. This is the essence of how I work. I let moments unfold and capture them to create my version of wedding photos.

I'm deeply honored & privileged to be invited into arguably the most important day of my couples' lives. Documenting their love and intimacy in an artistic and cinematic way, fuels my inspiration. No two weddings are the same, and that’s exactly how I want it.
