I have always had a hard time living a life that the world said I should live. Like, who quits varsity basketball to start skateboarding? Or who drops out of college to volunteer to jump out of airplanes for the Army? Or who trades in a 9-5 sure paying job to struggle to build a life pursuing a career in photography?

You guessed right, that goofball is me…

It was in my nature to live my life in an “unorthodox” way. But those crazy decisions in my mind are my versions of the pursuit of happiness. I know what its like to spend years in a place knowing I’m wasting my life. This led me to this life behind the lens, a new escapism, one that helped me understand the world a lot better by capturing precious moments in time. I understood movement, stories, love, people, & beliefs more through a camera than I could through a book or conversation.

This is the foundation of how I work. I shoot to understand my couples and their unique love, I let their own moments unfold and capture them to create natural wedding photos.
